We know that visiting a new place can sometimes be a concern. Rest easy! Take a few moments to plan your arrival and learn about how to get around. A huge team of hospitality volunteers are waiting to welcome and guide you during the week.
Getting to the Conference Center
You can drive your car to Traverse City, or sit back and let a chauffeured coach do the driving. There are bus routes headed north starting in three cities, Kalamazoo, Jackson and Southfield. If you need to add it to your registration, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Call the Marquette District office (906.228.4644) for details on a bus route from the Upper Peninsula.
There is ample free parking for those attending annual conference. Parking volunteers will be available to help you find your way from your vehicle to where you need to be. Shuttles will be available in the parking lot to bring you to the main building and back.
The Grand Traverse Conference Center has condos that are located off the central property. The staff offers a free shuttle that will circle through these properties to designated shuttle stops to bring you to the conference center.
Check out the full range of campus, community and facility maps to help you get around. You can view them onscreen or download PDF versions to bring with you. Upon arrival, the annual conference program will contain many of these maps for your convenience.
We want annual conference to be a joy for all who attend. Grand Traverse conference center is ADA-compliant, and has fully accessible rooms. If you have additional accommodation needs, please request assistance when you register. This includes, but is not limited to Sign Language Interpreter Services, braille materials, dietary restrictions and medical needs.
